I've been trying to get some Surge since yesterday, but it always unavailable.

I got, like 3 emails from Amazon, that tell me that it is available, but every time I go to Amazon to order, it's gone again. Fuck this shit! And fuck Coke's stupid Amazon only sale system and fuck Mello Yello and fuck the stupid idiots who oppose having caffeine in shit we eat and drink and fuck polar bears, too.

In a previous life, I was a small restaurant owner, and over the years we had switched from Coke to Pepsi and back at least two times.

I would have preferred to have Coke products, but the deal Pepsi made us was worth the switch. While we had Coke, I used to get had plenty of requests for Mt Dew, but I obviously couldn't have it in my Coke fountain.

Moving to Pepsi, I thought at least these customers would appreciate the switch.

When we switched back to Coke, and the rep was asking me what I wanted on our fountain. We had one left, and he asked if I wanted Surge, and the conversation went a little like this.

Me: "WTF is Serge?"

Him: "It's just like Mt Dew.

Me: "Get the fuck out of here!"

Him: "No, I cannot! It's serious! Because it's very important soda."

Me: "Have you ever sold one of these?

Him: "I've been installing it on fountains all over the area "

Me: "Get the fuck out of here!"

Him: "No! I'm serious! I sell it myself!"

We got Surge, and no one one drank it.

I'm wondering how long this Surge comeback will last. No one drank it back then, and I have a feeling the few that did will order their Surge, get tired of paying for shipping, and go back to whatever energy drink they've been drinking for the last 11 years.

I don't know man, but it's pretty close to Mountain Dew in my book, especially because of the better looking color. It it sticks around, it would probably replace a good part of the original Dew, I drink, but I will keep drinking Dew for the flavor variations.

but seriously some tractor supply type store (rural king maybe?) moved into our area and i went to check it out and wouldn't you know it they had jolt in bottles for like $1.50 each. i bought all of them. this was like a year ago though

Ha, I've done that before.

I used to keep several cans at the house for a quick PM boost if I needed it. (this was mid 90s, pre-energy drink era). At some point they stopped carrying it in my local area, and I gave up.

Once my GF at the time bought me a case of cans for Xmas. Best gift ever, but I told her never to spend $50 on a case of soda for me again. :)

I found it on a trip to NJ once, but it was those flavored ones. Black Cherry, Orange, etc.. I bought a few, but I didn't like them.
